Life doesn’t come with a road map. As a first-generation immigrant, mom of three, and National Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach, I’ve learned that our most powerful moments often emerge from our most challenging transitions.
Standing in the exhausting chaos of new motherhood and having lost my own mother, I felt lost. I realised I couldn’t pour from an empty cup, and that in order to care for my loved ones, I first had to care for myself. Protecting my energy wasn’t selfish, it was necessary. I learned that I wasn’t alone in this struggle and that seeking help was not a sign of weakness, but an act of strength.
These overwhelming moments, whether it’s navigating motherhood, menopause, chronic illness, care giving, or simply trying to rediscover yourself are not meant to be survived alone.
I’m Renuka, a NBC-HWC and CMHC Certified Mental Health and Wellness Coach with a formal education in coaching from Headspace Training Institute.
